Retail Orders

Where is my order?

You will receive an email from us confirming your order, and another email confirming that your shipment is on its way! From the time we have received your order, our standard turnaround time is about 2 to 5 business days to ship your order. If you have provided a valid email address at the time of placing the order, you will receive an email from us with the tracking information as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

If it has been 5 business days and you still haven't received your tracking number, please contact us at info@lifetimetea.com or by calling Toll Free (866) 998-4779, Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm Pacific Time so we can check the status of your order's shipment for you.

How soon can I expect my order to be delivered?

We strive to ship your order within 48 - 96 hours (excludes weekends and holidays) via the delivery method you specify at checkout. We ship from Chandler, AZ, via FedEx and USPS. Shipping times usually varies from 2-10 business days, depending on where you live and the time of the year. Shipping times may slow a little during peak seasons. All orders submitted on our website with a valid email address will have shipments tracked by a unique tracking number emailed to you after shipping, to ensure prompt delivery and service.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we only ship the products within the United States and Canada.

I didn’t receive any email communication about my order. Did you send me an email?

Here are a few reasons why you may have not received our email notifications:

  • Probably there may have been a typo in the email address you've provided on your order.

  • There is a probability our emails ended up in your spam folder. We recommend checking your Spam folder to ensure that is not the case.

  • Some email service providers may block our emails so please make sure to add Lifetimetea.com to your "Safe sender's list".

I received a wrong product and/or some items were missing in my order. How can you make it right?

We are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If the shipment is a result of our error, we will gladly reship your correct items at no charge or issue a refund. A return shipping label may be issued for you to send back the wrong item to our warehouse (customer must preserve packing slip and items ordered without disposing them for verification purposes) before reshipping your correct items or issuing a refund.

Please contact us via email or phone within 30 days of receipt and we will correct the problem, replace the product, or offer you a refund.

I ordered a wrong product by mistake. What are my options?

If the items ordered are unopened, unused, undamaged and in original packaging, send your order back to us at your shipping expense for a full product refund or an exchange. We recommend you always insure the shipment. Refunds will not include shipping costs originally incurred to ship your order. Refund submissions are processed upon receipt of the goods, and takes 7-14 business days (depending on banking institutions and merchant providers) to process.

Can I make changes to my order once it is placed?

If the product hasn’t been shipped, we will make efforts to accommodate the change requests. Please contact us at info@lifetimetea.com or by calling Toll Free (866) 998-4779 (Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm Pacific Time) so we can check the status of your order's shipment and discuss the changes.

How do returns and refunds work?

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with our products. If you receive a product from Lifetime Tea that does not measure up to our high standards, we would like the opportunity to correct it.

What is Private Label Tea?

Private labeling is when you take Lifetime Tea's top quality, time tested and proven tea formulations and package them with your brand, logo, and label.

What is your minimum order/batch size?

We believe that a high minimum order quantity is one of the biggest challenges many small and start-up businesses face. Investing in large quantities of products without knowing how well they will sell is usually a great deal for the manufacturer but not always a good deal for you.

Our relationship-based philosophy is simply that it must be win-win. Our success is predicated on the success of your business which is why we encourage you to START SMALL!!

Rather than having a room full of inventory with products that could take weeks or months to sell, put your start-up capital into places like; cash reserves, marketing, web design, social media, giveaways, community events and many other places that will help generate sales and keep your company strong. Our 'start small' model is designed to help you ramp-up production as your sales increase.

How do I know what tea(s) will be the best for my brand?

Start by identifying your target customer segment.

  • Who are they (Women and/or men; their age: 25-50, millennials, seniors, yoga enthusiasts, diabetics, health-conscious consumers, cancer survivors, etc.)?

  • What products best meet their needs (Green tea, Pu-Erh, Rooibos, Herbal Blends, Weight Loss, Functional Tea, etc.)?

  • How can you effectively target them to let them know you exist (Instagram, Facebook, Print/Radio, Pinterest, Retail, Chamber of Commerce, etc.)?

  • Answering these questions before you get started will be a big step towards your long-term success.

Are your teas Certified Organic?

All of our teas meet or exceed; USDA Certified Organic, JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards), EU (European Union) and/or Kosher guidelines.

Many of our premium teas are grown at high elevation above the pest line by small family owned tea farmers with limited output. All teas are processed in accordance with the stated guidelines however, since these high elevation teas are grown without the need for pesticides, they are naturally organic.

Are your functional and wellness teas FDA approved?

The FDA does not approve dietary/herbal supplements before they go to market, but they are responsible for recalling products found to be harmful or misbranded. Regulation in the food and supplement industry mainly comes from the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which we apply in our production process. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding our product or the processes.

What makes your flavored teas better than the teas available at my local supermarket?

ETHICAL PRODUCTION: Many tea manufacturers use inferior leaf from questionable sources to make flavored teas. The belief is that flavoring will mask the character of poor tea. Our teas are sourced from premium certified estates and our chemical free process means they taste great and are good for the Earth at the same time.

I need Packaging, Label Design, and Custom Artwork for my private labels. Can you help?

We are a full-service provider for all your private label or custom tea manufacturing needs. All of our graphic design, packaging, printing, labeling, quality control and shipping is done within our Chandler, Arizona corporate office.

We have invested in superior quality printing and packaging equipment so that we can operate as a full-service facility.

This gives us the ability to complete projects much faster without the added costs of shipping to and from a third-party co-packer. This savings is passed onto you in the form of premium products with low minimum orders at great prices.

How long does the process take from start to finish?

Our processing time will vary based on a couple of key factors:

  • Size of the order - small orders of 1,000 units or less are processed more quickly than a 20,000 unit order. On average - small orders of < 1,000 units can be processed in 7-14 business days while larger orders may take 2-4 weeks depending on the size and our order production queue.

  • Time of the year - orders will likely take longer as we enter the holiday season (September - November) and in the summer months when some of our staff takes holiday vacation.


What guarantees do I have that your products are as stated?

We strongly encourage you to try samples of any tea you may consider offering in your line-up. Your customers are going to expect you to be the expert on any product you sell. Knowing the; taste, cup color, flavor profile, texture, growing region, brewing times, etc. will let your customers know how serious you are about your products.

For example, Our flavored teas are made with natural extract and not artificial sweeteners or other chemicals to enhance the taste. For this reason, someone used to drinking a low quality artificially flavored tea may think ours tastes different (not as sweet). It does and it should taste much different because it is of the highest quality. Some companies use a low quality tea (referred to as dust) which they can mask with a chemical flavoring oil to cover up the inferior quality tea.

We believe our customers deserve better. They can sweeten our premium quality tea to their taste preference.

Is there a volume discount as my orders increase?

Of course - The more you buy the lower the price. Please request our private label pricing sheet for details on pricing options.

Can you drop ship our products to Amazon, ShipBob or any other 3PL?

We ship finished products from our warehouse directly to ShipBob and Amazon for many of our customers. However, we do not drop ship products to your end customers.

How do I specify a formulation?

You could provide us with your formulation broken down into ingredients. Please specify the percentage of each ingredient in the blend by composition.

I don't have a formula. Can you help me develop one?

Yes, we have a team of expert Tea Connoisseurs who can help you custom formulate a proprietary blend for an additional charge. We also offer many base formulas that are market ready.

I already have a finished product but no formula. Can you replicate it?

Is there an extra charge for a custom blend creation?

There is no extra charge for manufacturing a custom blend from your readily available formulation. However, if you wish to create a custom blend from scratch in consultation with our expert Tea Connoisseurs, there would be an additional charge. How can I be sure of the ingredients in my formulation, and the quality of ingredients?

We use the highest quality ingredients for blending and manufacturing our teas. We adhere to strict quality and record keeping standards for traceability as outlined by the GMP, FDA and the National Organic Program. We can provide a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) upon request.

Can we supply our own raw materials?

We have developed and maintained long-term partnerships with suppliers and growers to offer you with the best quality products at optimal costs. However, you can supply your own raw materials and we can work as your co-packer. As part of the co-packing process, we will require you to provide the COA (Certificate of Analysis) of each ingredient or the COA for the blend.

The tea base/botanical am looking for is not listed in your website. What are my options?

The products (tea/herbs) listed on our website are the ones that are most commonly used by us and our customers. Because of that reason, we also have a line-of-sight on availability of these products. You can reach out to us to discuss the specific ingredient (tea/herb/botanical) you need in your blend and we will make all efforts to source them from our preferred supplier/partner network. Alternatively, you can provide the ingredient along with a COA (Certificate of Analysis). Please note, we may have some restrictions on use of certain restricted ingredients.

Can you help me design a logo and/or a label?

Yes, Lifetime Tea can design all your branding needs. Our professional graphic artists can create your logo, as well as compliant labeling and packaging. What packaging options do you offer?

What you package your tea in, is just as important as the tea itself. Tea must be stored properly (be it on the shelf or when the consumer is using it) otherwise it will go bad and loses its color, smell and taste. Fresh tea looks nice, smells nice and tastes amazing. We don't ever cut corners on something so important as packaging.

For this reason our preference of packaging is a zip-top stand up pouch made exclusively for tea. This bag is; foil lined so that no light gets in, comes with a resealable zipper to keep tea fresher longer, and is heat sealed for maximum freshness when the package arrives.

Will my blend stay exclusive to my business?

We sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which is a legally binding document that protects confidential information such as trade secrets, ideas, recipes, formulations, and designs. You can be rest assured that your proprietary information will remain confidential and exclusive to your business.

Where do you source your Tea and Herbs from?

Since our inception, we have continually developed and maintained long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with suppliers and growers who are committed to sustainable and organic farming practices. Our certified organic products are grown and harvested in accordance with the USDA National Organic Program. Our products and manufacturing facility are both Certified Organic by Quality Assurance International (QAI).

We offer a large selection of Fair Trade Teas certified by Fair Trade USA, an independent nonprofit organization that monitors and certifies Fair Trade products in the U.S. Fair Trade raises income and living standards for tea farmers overseas, while helping to protect the environment by investing in their farms and communities. As a consumer, Fair Trade offers a powerful way to reduce poverty through your everyday shopping.

We make every effort to source ingredients from natural renewable sources and are dedicated to the conservation of plants and the preservation of their natural habitat. We support sustainable wild collection practices to protect species from becoming endangered.

Why do your teas contain flavoring?

Flavoring is one of the primary reasons some of our best blends taste so amazing. However, it is important to know that when you brew a cup of our flavored tea, the actual amount of flavoring is under 0.01% irrespective how strong the taste may be.

We only use Natural Organic flavors. These flavors are composed of substances that are all found in nature. Such substances as essential oils by law, can only be derived or isolated by methods of distillation, filtration or by means of naturally occurring fermentation.

What’s the difference between natural and artificial flavoring?

Natural Organic flavors are composed of substances that are all found in nature. Such substances as essential oils by law, can only be derived or isolated by methods of distillation, filtration or by means of naturally occurring fermentation. But if any component of a flavor is created artificially, it has to be labeled as artificial. In a lot of cases, natural and artificial flavorings have the exact same chemical composition — they’re just made in different ways. Artificial flavoring is every bit as safe to drink as natural flavoring.

Is organic tea more expensive than regular or conventional tea?

Yes, any organic product could be a little expensive compared to the conventional ones. Unlike a potato or a melon, tea cannot even be washed after harvesting. Water initiates the oxidation process, which turns green tea into black or oolong tea, and also develops caffeine and other enzymes. Water would ruin the colors and integrity of tiny fragile herbs. The bottom line then, is that whatever has been sprayed on the leaves or worked into the soil, brews directly into the cup.

Organic tea is tea grown following organic principles set out by the USDA in the US, IFOAM in Europe, or other organizations in their home countries. The principles of organic agriculture states that it:

  • has to “sustain and enhance the healthy soil, animals, plants and people”

  • should be “based on living ecological systems” is supposed to be fair

  • should “protect the health and well-being of current and future generations and environment”

Given the above, shouldn’t your tea really be organic or grown using sustainable farming practices?

How much caffeine does tea have?

It’s virtually impossible to measure the exact amount of caffeine in every cup. We have tested all of our teas to come up with a general rating system.

Here are our caffeine categories that you will find in each of our product pages:

Caffeine-free contains 0 mg of caffeine per cup
Low contains 1-19 mg of caffeine per cup
Medium contains 20-39 mg of caffeine per cup
High* contains 40-60 mg of caffeine per cup

*BTW, a cup of brewed coffee has over 140 mg of caffeine per cup.

What are Fair Trade Certified teas and why does it matter?

Fair Trade USA, an independent nonprofit organization that monitors and certifies Fair Trade products in the U.S. Fair Trade USA certification supports the sustainable growth and ethical production and trading of ingredients. The Fair Trade Certified logo stands for fair wages, safe working conditions, eco-friendly practices and a commitment to community development. Fair Trade raises income and living standards for tea farmers overseas, while helping to protect the environment by investing in their farms and communities.

By partnering with Fair Trade USA, we’re giving back to the people growing our teas and the communities they live in. As a consumer, Fair Trade offers a powerful way to reduce poverty through your everyday shopping.

Does tea expire and how long does your tea stay fresh and are there any specific storage requirements?

No, tea does not expire; it just loses freshness over time. To keep your teas fresh, always store them in a cool, dry, dark place and keep them well sealed. We recommend using a stand up pouch with a zip-top seal to ensure the product remains as fresh as possible for as long as possible. We also recommend using a solid foil lined pouch with no windows exposing the tea to light.

To ensure the freshest teas, we recommend you follow these guidelines:

  • Teas and infusions with fruits and nuts: consume within 2 months from the time the package is opened.

  • Straight teas: consume within 12 months from date of purchase.
